PRESS RELEASE – On January 24, 2025, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a broken windshield, driving with an off road illuminated light bar and broken tail light.
During the traffic stop, the driver admitted to prior Drug and DUI charges and gave deputies consent to search his vehicle.
While conducting the initial search of the vehicle, a clear container was found containing a clear crystal like substance, a bag with clear crystal like substance and two green glass smoking devices, hypodermic needles and an amount of suspected marijuana.
The driver, Jeremy David Carter, age 54, of Eastanollee, Ga., and passengers Torey Breahnah Rodgers, age 21, of Toccoa, Ga., and Kazlynn Reanna Williams, age 19, of Royston, Ga., were all three placed under arrest and transported to the franklin County Jail without incident.
