Man covered in blood arrested after calls of concern

PRESS RELEASE – On the afternoon of Tuesday, February 18, 2025, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office received a call for service/welfare check at a residence on Highway 106 in the Red Hill Community.
The caller reported seeing a white male, covered in blood, in the yard of the residence.
Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division responded to the address where they found signs of a forced entry and blood throughout the residence.
The injured male was not at the location, nor was the resident of the address and her vehicle.
Various quantities of controlled substances were also located at various locations in the residence.
Investigators with the Criminal Investigations Division responded to the address and initiated a criminal investigation.
While processing the scene, the Patrol Division located the vehicle, male, and female at a camper located at a nearby residence and the female was unharmed.
When deputies attempted to make contact with the male and female to perform a welfare check, the male and female attempted to flee and obstructed law enforcement in the lawful discharge of their duties.
Quantities of various controlled substances were also located in the camper.
Tanner Scott Christian was arrested and charged with:
• Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute
• Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute
• Obstruction of Law Enforcement Officers x 2
• Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance
• Possession of Methamphetamine
• Possession of Schedule IV Controlled Substance
• Possession of Drug Related Objects
• Prescription Drugs Must Be In Original Container
• Possession of Marijuana
Ashli Jo Pruitt was arrested and charged with:
• Crossing the Guard Line
• Obstruction of Law Enforcement Officers
